Gift of the Givers – SA (Somalia Office) remains committed to supporting vulnerable and underserved communities, particularly individuals unable to afford necessary medical treatment and hospital care.
As part of its humanitarian health initiatives, Gift of the Givers has supported and facilitated numerous fistula surgeries for women and girls, providing access to essential medical care, surgical treatment, medication, and post-operative support.
All patients who underwent the supported fistula surgeries successfully completed their treatment, with positive health outcomes reported. Beneficiaries expressed sincere gratitude to Gift of the Givers for the assistance received, noting the immense relief it brought regarding the complications and suffering caused by fistula.
This intervention not only addressed critical medical needs but also helped restore the dignity, confidence, and quality of life of women and girls who had been living with the physical and social challenges associated with fistula. Gift of the Givers continues to stand by vulnerable communities, ensuring that financial hardship does not prevent individuals from accessing life-changing medical care.
