OLE International and OLE Kenya are taking the extraordinary step of deactivating this project. We are sorry to report that this funding appeal did not gain the traction needed for success; we are disappointed that we were unable to achieve our goals for the program. Our objective was to tap into the considerable resources of the Somali expatriate community. The failure to activate this network is due in part to the fact that this network is already over-extended supporting the various crises facing Somali but ultimate responsibility rests with our organization. We are open to reactivating this project in the future if there is sufficient interest.
