For many women and girls in vulnerable communities, these barriers can be as difficult as the challenges themselves.

Stigma can discourage people from seeking information.

Fear can prevent survivors from reporting violence.

Harmful norms can make women feel that their health and wellbeing are less important than the expectations of others.

But seeking help should never be a source of shame.

Every woman and girl deserves access to accurate information, respectful treatment, and appropriate support.

Through Support Sexual Health Rights for Women and Girls, GoGreen aims to empower 400 women, girls, and young people affected by conflict and displacement in Benue State.

Our project will promote awareness of sexual and reproductive health and rights, strengthen understanding of gender-based violence, and help participants recognize available pathways for seeking assistance.

We want to encourage communities where women can ask questions without humiliation.

Where girls are listened to rather than dismissed.

Where survivors are treated with compassion rather than blame.

And where seeking appropriate health and protection services is understood as an act of self-care and a legitimate exercise of one's rights.
