There are many things conflict can take away.
A home.
A livelihood.
A sense of security.
A familiar community.
But there is something powerful we can help women and girls carry wherever life takes them:
Knowledge of their rights.
When a girl understands that violence is not her fault or something she must silently accept, that knowledge matters.
When a young woman knows she has a right to seek accurate health information, that knowledge matters.
When a survivor knows that support pathways exist, that knowledge matters.
When young people learn to question harmful norms rather than automatically inherit them, that knowledge can travel from one person to another.
Through Support Sexual Health Rights for Women and Girls, GoGreen aims to reach 400 women, girls, and young people affected by conflict and displacement in Benue State.
Through peer education, community conversations, and awareness initiatives, we want to strengthen knowledge of sexual and reproductive health and rights while challenging practices and attitudes that contribute to gender inequality and violence.
Your donation can help support that work.
A workshop eventually ends.
A community dialogue eventually closes.
An awareness activity may last only a day.
But what someone learns can remain.
It can influence future decisions.
It can be shared with a friend.
It can help someone recognize when a right is being violated.
It can encourage another person to seek help.
This project is still waiting for its first donor.
Help give women and girls knowledge they can carry forward.
Donate today and invest in informed choices, dignity, safety, and stronger communities.
