In Benue State, Nigeria, the numbers are even more troubling—12.3% of all early child marriages in Nigeria occur here, putting thousands of girls at risk for lifelong hardship (UNFPA, 2023).
Through your generous support, the GoGreen CAPR project is working to break the cycle of violence and silence. We empower women, girls, and youth in Guma LGA with life-changing knowledge about their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and we challenge the harmful norms that perpetuate discrimination and abuse.
