Dear Friend of Change,
Imagine a girl in Benue State—her name could be Chidinma, Ayo, or Grace. She wakes up each day with dreams as bright as any child’s: to go to school, to play, to learn, to become someone who shapes her world. But for too many girls here, those dreams are at risk from the moment they are born.
Early marriage, gender-based violence, and female genital mutilation (FGM) steal away childhoods and futures. According to UNICEF, more than 4 in 10 young women in Nigeria are married before 18. The Nigeria Demographic and Health Survey reveals that only 3.2% of women aged 15–19 use family planning, while 14.4% have already given birth. These numbers mean lost years in school, lost health, and lost hope.
When a girl is forced into marriage or subjected to violence:
But your support can rewrite her story.
By helping fund the “Support Sexual Health Rights for Women and Girls” project, you will:
When a girl is empowered to stay in school and make her own choices, she becomes a beacon of hope for her family and community. She is more likely to finish her education, build a career, and help lift her community out of poverty. Her success inspires others, multiplies change, and breaks cycles of harm.
Every girl deserves a chance to shine, to lead, and to dream without fear. Your contribution is more than a donation—it is a promise to every girl that her life and dreams matter.
Let’s unlock her potential—together.
