Vidya Chetana (Rural School project) has been consciously investing all its resources towards the welfare of the student community.
List of activities completed:
It is for this reason Vidya Chetana had launched its School Kit Project in 2009. Since then, it takes on the mammoth task of distributing school kits among needy every year. It may look like one-dimensional need. But school kit means much more to a child than just a regular part of school-going activity. VC school kits, which allow students to further their studies, are particularly distributed among children living in unfavourable conditions or chronic poverty. Each bag contains adequate materials for one student to study for one year. Through school kit distribution, VC not only seeks to enable children to pursue their education but also wants to raise awareness about the lack of access to education in the society.
Scholarships for needy children: Vidya Chetana is sponsoring children’s education since 2009. Most of the children in rural places are finding difficulty to afford education, due to lack of poverty & most of the parents depends on Agriculture.
One of our efforts to help the underprivileged with their education and to reduce dropouts due to financial problems; we do a timely distribution of scholarships to those students in need. We serve as the interface between the common man and the underprivileged sections of the society.
Sports & Cultural Events : Games and sports are a great way to stay healthy and fit both physically and mentally. Such underprivileged children mostly spend their life in miserable conditions and undergo a lot of frustration. Vidya Chetana organizes sports and cultural events to engage with such children and build an atmosphere of fun and frolic to boost their spirits and create cherished memories.
Kreeda Chetana: Is a mega sports for underprivileged children organized by Vidya Chetana every year. Most of the children don’t have proper platform to show their skills.
Kala Chetana : Is a mega cultural event for underprivileged children. This is a event which provides a platform for the children to show case their talents in different spheres of Arts, Performing Arts, Music & Dance.
