This project will help the most vulnerable villages in rural areas with 10,000 COVID-19 medicine kits for home isolation and provide food kits for the ones who have lost their livelihood or the sole earner of their family.
The onslaught of the second wave of COVID19 has collapsed the health care system and all aid is working to fulfill the shortage of oxygen, beds, and medicines in urban India. What largely remains a blind spot in India's crisis is rural India where 70% of the country's population resides. Rural areas were already vulnerable and more exposed to hunger, and inadequate healthcare. Shortage of basic medicines required to treat COVID19 patients and economic hardships are leading to unaccounted deaths.
Your donation will provide immediate relief to rural villages to fight COVID-19 by: Supplying Life Saving Covid-19 Medicines Kits: the funds will support frontline health workers with medicine kits to treat COVID-19 patients in home isolation. The cost of each Kit is only USD $3. Distribution of Ration Kits - Families with no livelihood and the ones suffering due to the death of a sole earner are supported through ration kits, each kit costs USD $20 to support a family of 5 for 15 days.
The Project will provide 10,000 COVID-19 medicine kits to frontline workers and equip them to treat patients and curb the number of cases in the most vulnerable villages. The project will also eliminate hunger for families who have no means to earn a livelihood and the ones who have lost the sole earning member, allowing them to survive the pandemic.
