In areas affected by war and conflict, children suffer the most. The International Rescue Committee (IRC) works with communities worldwide to protect and nurture children's potential through innovative education, and livelihoods and skills-building programs. We ensure safe spaces are provided for all children, while equipping them with learning materials to excel in school and comforting toys to heal from trauma. Your gift can help the IRC provide education or other critical services.

More than half of the 62 million children out of school across the globe live in war-torn countries. Yet resources for them remain low. Poor access to education and safe spaces to learn and play can undermine a child's potential to improve their life.

Your gift can help the IRC protect and rebuild the lives of children by providing educational opportunities or other lifesaving support that will keep them safe while learning the skills they need to survive and thrive.

Long-Term Impact

More people have been forced to flee their homes by conflict and disaster than ever before on record-half of which are children. By supporting the work of the IRC, you are taking immediate action to provide relief to displaced children and families, helping them to survive, recover, and gain control of their future.
