Support Refugee Babies in Turkey

Support to Life helps refugees access their basic needs and rights throughout the Covid-19 pandemic as always. We are trying to identify the current problems and to address the ongoing and upcoming issues.

Currently, 3.6 million Syrians live in Turkey and roughly half of these are children. It is very difficult to provide the care and attention that babies need while trying to find a job, a safe place for quarantine. We support the lives of refugee babies in these difficult times by providing them and their mothers with the necessary basic care items like diapers.

We focused on the refugee babies to ensure timely and adequate provision of relevant services, and on their families to keep them informed about Covid-19 risks, vulnerabilities, and precautions that need to be taken. To support life and meet the needs, we first conduct a needs assessment in our working fields and we collaborated with the public authorities during the process. Identifying the problems and needs was the first step. Then we provided the care packs and diapers needed.

For building a future together we support life by identifying the problems and developing solutions for them. We believe that today's babies are the ones who are going shape the future and every child is ours. With your help, we can reach more refugee babies.

8 babies and their mothers received baby care bags with your donations. One baby care bag = for a newborn baby with the necessary basic care, hygiene items plus a diary for the mother.

We will reach our goal with a donation of 367 $.
