Continuing Our Commitment to Education and Environmental Sustainability
Between June and September 2026, the RecyclesPay Educational Project continued its work of supporting educational access for children in underserved communities by combining plastic recycling with educational empowerment.
During the reporting period, we achieved the following:
*310.1 kg of recyclable plastics collected through participating schools and communities.
*Continued engagement with participating schools and community supporters around recycling and educational support.
*Maintained project activities despite the extended school holiday period.
*Re-engaged with schools following the resumption of the new academic session in mid-September, preparing for increased collection activities in the coming quarter.
The quarter also presented some operational limitations. The long school holiday from July Ending to early September significantly reduced school-based activities, as students and teachers were away. Schools began resuming around the middle of September, giving us limited time to restart regular activities before the end of the reporting period.
Despite this interruption, collecting 310.1 kilograms of plastics demonstrates the continued commitment of our school and community partners. It also reinforced the importance of coordinating our activities with the academic calendar and strengthening our operational capacity.
Looking Ahead
With schools now back in session, we are entering the next quarter with renewed momentum. Our priorities are to increase plastic collections, strengthen participation among existing schools, engage additional schools and communities, and support more children through the project.
We are asking our donors to take action with us this quarter. A donation to RecyclesPay will help us meet the practical costs of collecting and transporting recyclable plastics, maintain engagement with participating schools, and expand the project to reach more children who need educational support.
If you have supported RecyclesPay before, we invite you to renew or increase your contribution this quarter. If you are new to the project, this is an opportunity to become part of a simple but meaningful cycle: your support helps us collect more plastics, strengthen our operations, and create more opportunities for children to access education.
Please donate today and help us turn more plastic waste into educational opportunity for vulnerable children.
RecyclesPay is more than a recycling initiative—it is a community-powered approach to addressing environmental challenges while helping children pursue their education.
One plastic bottle at a time. One child at a time. One donation at a time. Together, we can do more.
