Challenge

Thousands of people in Gaza have experienced life-changing injuries resulting in amputations and permanent disabilities. Many now face significant challenges accessing mobility aids, rehabilitation services, healthcare, nutritious food, and other essential support. Ongoing displacement, damaged infrastructure, and limited resources further increase their vulnerability. Without adequate assistance, war-injured amputees often struggle to maintain their health, independence, and quality of life.

Solution

This project provides mobility aids, healthcare support, food assistance, and dignified living support for war-injured amputees in Gaza. By addressing both immediate and ongoing needs, the project helps beneficiaries improve mobility, access essential care, maintain their well-being, and regain greater independence. These interventions enable individuals to navigate daily life more safely and comfortably while reducing the burden on their families.

Long-Term Impact

Access to mobility support, healthcare, and essential services can significantly improve the quality of life of war-injured amputees. With greater independence and improved well-being, beneficiaries can participate more actively in their communities, pursue educational or livelihood opportunities, and rebuild their lives with dignity. This project helps create a foundation for long-term resilience, inclusion, and hope for some of Gaza's most vulnerable survivors.
