When Harshit first joined Save The Children India's Balwadi, he used to cry a lot, missing his family members. With time, and through the efforts made by his teacher, Harshit gradually stopped crying altogether. Now, we are happy to report, that Harshit absolutely loves coming to the Balwadi. He has started showing more initiative, and actives engages and plays with the other children. His teacher reports that Harshit enthusiastically participates in all activities she undertakes, be it singing songs, storytelling, and coloring. Additionally, over the months, Harshit has showcased vast improvement in his speaking skills as well. Harshit's mother is happy with the progress her son has made, and went to state that while earlier, he used to cry while at the Balwadi, now, he cries to go to the Balwadi. His mother has noticed a significant improvement in her son's quality of speech, and is happy to report that he diligently undertakes all the readings and activities assigned by his teacher, with his confidence also being greatly boosted. When spoken to, Harshit stated that he loves coming to the Balwadi, and eagerly looks forward to the videos from his teacher. He enjoys interacting with his classmates, and is passionate to learn more. With valuable donations from donors like you, we can strive towards our mission of providing countless students like Harshit with a nourishing, developmentally appropriate education.
