Dear friends,
We’re grateful for your continued support of our campaign, “Support people’s right to a healthy life.” We want to share an important update: we have not received any donations yet through the GlobalGiving platform, so our fundraising progress on that channel remains at zero. At the same time, the clinics are continuing to serve the community - because of your support and commitment.
Current progress: $2,691 raised out of $10,000 goal
Our clinic continues its work providing free medical consultations and medicines for people who otherwise have no access to basic care. In this region, the nearest government hospital is about 1.5 hours away by drive, meaning many treatable illnesses and minor injuries can become serious—or life-threatening.
This year, we also adopted another clinic in Guatemala - in El Pojom. We restarted community services there in April, and from then onward the clinic has been working to resume support for local families, bringing care closer to where it’s most needed.
We’re deeply thankful to everyone who has contributed, shared the campaign, or supported our mission in any way. Your generosity helps keep healthcare available in rural Guatemala - day after day - and allows us to expand our impact by restarting and supporting El Pojom as well.
