We aim to raise donations/zakat for orphans from destitute families to support their education and provide them shelter, healthy food, clothing, sports, recreational activities, character building and all the comforts of home at our orphanage MyHome Al-Mustafa. These orphans belong to extremely poor families; most were working as child labourers and never had the opportunity to study at school. This project is aimed to save the future of 200 children living in our orphanage MyHome Al-Mustafa.
According to estimates, Pakistan hosts more than 4 million orphans. Natural calamities (floods and earthquakes), massive killings due to terrorism and a high influx of refugees from neighboring countries have contributed to this number. Due to poverty and lack of government owned orphanages, these children are deprived of education and end up on streets working as child labor, caught up by child traffickers and are being exposed to physical, sexual, mental and drug abuse on streets.
In 2017, Al-Mustafa Welfare Society established an orphanage "MyHome Al-Mustafa". All the children of MyHome are enrolled in our school AL-Mustafa Academy. Along with accommodation and education, children are also provided quality food, clothing, sports activities, scouts and martial arts training, recreational activities, field trips and a safe and secure environment. We aim to raise enough funds to bear the 1-year expense of 200 children at MyHome Al-Mustafa.
By taking full responsibility for children, building their character and providing them all the opportunities to get higher education, not only are we securing the future of homeless children, but we are giving hope to the families. Society will get powerful professionals who were once vulnerable street children. We hope these children will not only be benefiting their selves and their families but will also become the hope for other orphans and vulnerable children in the future.
