Across displacement camps in the Gaza Strip, families are currently facing a severe shortage of safe drinking water, turning one of life’s most basic necessities into a daily struggle.
For displaced families living in temporary shelters, securing enough clean water has become increasingly difficult. Parents must think every day about how they will find water for their children to drink, prepare food, and meet basic household needs.
Through this initiative, we are providing safe drinking water to displaced and vulnerable families across several camps in Gaza, helping respond to this urgent and growing need.
For a mother, receiving clean water means she can give her children something safe to drink without fear or uncertainty. For an elderly person, it means avoiding the exhausting search for water. For families with little or no income, it means saving scarce resources for food, medicine, and other necessities.
When drinking water becomes scarce, every container delivered can make a real difference in a family’s day.
The current shortage makes continued water distributions more important than ever. Families cannot wait for this need to pass; they require safe water every single day.
With continued support, we hope to reach more camps, serve more families, and help ensure that displaced people are not left to face thirst on top of the many other hardships they already endure.
Clean water is not a luxury. It is life, health, dignity, and hope.
