Children in Al-Dhahiriya Village Camp are growing up in circumstances shaped by displacement and financial hardship.
Some have lost parents. Others live with widowed mothers or extended family members who struggle to provide even the most basic necessities.
Our bread distribution project provides fresh bread to children and families throughout the camp, helping ensure that food is available at home.
For children, regular access to food is essential. Hunger affects energy, concentration, mood, and overall well-being.
A child should not have to think about whether there will be enough bread for everyone in the family.
Childhood should not be defined by hunger and uncertainty.
By providing bread, we are helping families create at least a small sense of routine and stability.
Parents can serve food to their children with less anxiety. Children can eat without being aware of the many sacrifices being made behind the scenes.
We hope to continue supporting these families for as long as the need exists.
Every loaf distributed to a child is a small step toward protecting health, dignity, and hope.
