For many families living in Al-Dhahiriya Village Camp, daily meals have become smaller, less frequent, and harder to secure.
Displaced households often survive on very limited income, and widows and families caring for orphaned children face even greater challenges.
Our fresh bread distribution program helps these families meet an essential daily need.
Bread often becomes the center of every meal. Families may share it with vegetables, tea, or whatever small amount of food is available.
On difficult days, bread alone may be enough to prevent a child from going to bed hungry.
What may appear to be a simple food item can mean everything to a family with very few options.
By providing bread free of charge, we reduce the financial burden on households that are already struggling with many other expenses.
The support also brings a sense of relief. A parent knows that, at least for that day, there is something available for the children to eat.
We continue this work because hunger is not a one-time problem. It returns every day.
With continued support, we can keep fresh bread reaching families who depend on this assistance as part of their daily survival.
