For displaced families in the Gaza Strip, hunger is not an abstract concern. It is a daily reality.
Families living in Al-Baladiya Camp, Abu Mazid Camp, and Al-Shabab Club Camp are facing extremely difficult living conditions. Many of them are unable to prepare proper meals because of the lack of cooking facilities, food supplies, fuel, and stable income.
Children are especially affected. When families cannot access enough food, parents are forced to reduce portions, skip meals, or rely on whatever limited food is available. For mothers and fathers, watching their children go hungry is one of the most painful parts of displacement.
Our hot meal initiative aims to provide immediate relief.
By preparing and distributing fresh, warm meals, we help ensure that vulnerable families can receive nourishing food without the financial or practical burden of preparing it themselves. This assistance is particularly important for children, widows, elderly people, and families with little or no income.
Each meal represents safety for a few hours. It means a child can eat without fear of hunger. It means a mother can feel a moment of relief knowing her family has been fed.
We continue to support displaced families in these camps because the need has not disappeared. As long as families remain in difficult living conditions, access to food remains one of the most urgent forms of assistance.
Your support enables us to continue preparing and distributing meals where they are needed most.
A hot meal cannot replace a lost home, but it can offer strength, dignity, and hope to a family trying to survive another difficult day.
