For displaced families living in Al-Baladiya Camp, Abu Mazid Camp, and Al-Shabab Club Camp in the Gaza Strip, securing a daily meal has become an enormous challenge. Families who once had homes, kitchens, and the ability to prepare food now find themselves living in overcrowded shelters and temporary tents, often with very limited access to cooking supplies, fuel, or basic ingredients.
Through this initiative, we are providing freshly prepared hot meals to displaced families living in these camps. For many beneficiaries, these meals are not simply food—they are a source of comfort, dignity, and reassurance during an extremely difficult period.
Children, elderly people, widowed women, and families who have lost their sources of income are among those who benefit from this support. A warm meal allows a mother to feed her children without worrying about where the next meal will come from. It allows an elderly person to receive nourishing food without having to struggle to prepare it under harsh living conditions.
In times of displacement, hunger adds another layer of suffering to families already carrying the burden of loss and uncertainty. By distributing hot meals, we are helping ease part of that burden and ensure that vulnerable families have access to at least one nourishing meal.
Our work in Al-Baladiya Camp, Abu Mazid Camp, and Al-Shabab Club Camp continues because the need remains urgent. With ongoing support, we hope to reach more families and continue standing beside those who are struggling to meet their most basic daily needs.
Every hot meal is more than food—it is a message to a displaced family that they are not forgotten.
