Children are among the most vulnerable people living in displacement camps across northern Gaza. Their families are dealing with difficult living conditions, limited resources, and constant uncertainty about how they will meet their most basic needs from one day to the next.
One of the greatest concerns for parents is ensuring that their children have enough clean water to drink. Children need access to safe water every day, particularly in crowded displacement settings where obtaining clean supplies can be extremely difficult.
When reliable drinking water is unavailable, families may have no choice but to use whatever water they can access. This can create additional worries for mothers and fathers who are already struggling to provide food and shelter for their children.
Providing safe drinking water can immediately improve daily living conditions inside the camps. It gives parents one less essential need to worry about and helps ensure that children have water available throughout the day.
Every water distribution is an investment in the health, dignity, and well-being of displaced children and their families.
Continued contributions from donors can help humanitarian teams deliver clean water to more locations and support families whose resources have been exhausted by prolonged displacement.
