Displaced families living in scattered camps across northern Gaza continue to face severe difficulties in accessing one of the most basic necessities of life: safe and clean drinking water. Many families are living in temporary shelters under extremely difficult conditions, with limited access to reliable water sources.
For families with young children, elderly people, and individuals who are already physically vulnerable, the lack of clean drinking water creates an even greater burden. Parents are often forced to spend a significant part of their limited resources searching for water that is safe enough for drinking, cooking, and preparing food for their children.
Access to safe drinking water is not a luxury; it is a fundamental human need. Without a regular supply, displaced families may be forced to rely on unsafe or poor-quality water, increasing their daily hardship and exposing them to additional health risks.
Providing drinking water directly to displacement camps can bring immediate relief to hundreds of families. Regular water distributions can ensure that children and adults have enough clean water to meet their essential daily needs.
Continued donor support is essential to maintain these distributions and reach more families across northern Gaza. Every delivery of safe water provides relief, dignity, and reassurance to families struggling to survive displacement.
