For displaced families living in camps throughout northern Syria, securing food is a daily challenge. Many families depend on temporary work, humanitarian assistance, or support from relatives, while others have no regular income at all.
In these conditions, even buying bread can become difficult. Bread is not a luxury; it is a basic necessity that families depend on every single day. For large families with several children, the cost of purchasing enough bread can consume a significant portion of their limited household income.
When families cannot afford sufficient food, they often reduce the number of meals they eat each day. In some cases, children go to sleep hungry because their parents have nothing more to offer them.
Supporting bread distribution projects helps reduce this suffering. By providing fresh bread directly to displaced families, we can ensure that they receive food that is immediately useful and essential to their daily lives.
Each contribution helps place bread on the table of a family facing hardship, displacement, and uncertainty. With continued support, more families can be reached and protected from severe food insecurity.
