Safe drinking water is a basic human necessity, yet accessing sufficient quantities of water remains a serious daily challenge for many displaced families in Gaza.
Families living in tents and temporary displacement sites need water not only for drinking, but also for cooking and other essential household needs. When safe water is difficult to obtain, the burden is especially heavy on households already coping with displacement and limited resources.
Supporting water distribution can provide immediate and practical relief. Contributions can help cover the procurement, transportation, and distribution of potable water to displacement sites and communities where families are struggling to secure enough water.
A water delivery may appear simple, but for a displaced household it can mean having water available for children to drink and for parents to prepare basic meals without spending another day searching for an adequate supply.
Continued donor support can help maintain these distributions and expand assistance to additional families. By supporting access to safe drinking water, donors can help address one of the most fundamental needs faced by displaced communities in Gaza.
