In humanitarian emergencies, people with disabilities often face additional barriers in accessing aid and basic necessities.
This is the reality for residents of Ihtaimlat Camp, located north of Aleppo, where every person living in the camp has a disability.
To respond to one of their most immediate needs, our team distributed freshly baked bread to camp residents, ensuring that this essential food reached families directly.
The distribution was especially important because many residents cannot easily travel or carry supplies over long distances.
Providing bread at the camp reduces these challenges and gives families one less daily concern to manage.
For our team, this work is about more than food. It is about recognizing the specific needs of people with disabilities and supporting them with dignity and respect.
Your generosity made this possible. Thank you for helping us deliver essential assistance to people who continue to face extraordinary challenges.
