In Al-Dhahiriya village, north of Aleppo, displaced families continue to live with the consequences of displacement, financial hardship, and limited access to basic resources.
Among their many needs, securing enough food for the household remains a daily priority. Fresh bread is especially important because it is a staple that families rely on throughout the day and can share with children and other family members.
To support these households, we distributed fresh bread directly to displaced families in the village. This assistance helped provide an essential food item while reducing some of the financial burden on households with very limited resources.
Food assistance like this is particularly important because the need is continuous. Families do not need bread only once; it is part of their daily lives and their everyday struggle to provide enough food.
For some parents, receiving bread means they can use the little money they have for medicine, heating, clothing, or another important need. For others, it simply means knowing there will be food available for their children.
Every bread distribution is a small but meaningful step toward easing daily hardship and preserving dignity.
We are deeply grateful to our donors, whose support allows us to continue reaching displaced families in Al-Dhahiriya and other vulnerable communities across northern Syria.
