Displacement does not only mean losing a home. It also means losing stability, income, and the ability to provide for needs that were once a normal part of everyday life.
This is the reality faced by many families in Al-Dhahiriya Camp in northern Syria, where residents continue to struggle with difficult economic and living conditions that make securing food a daily challenge.
Among the most important needs is fresh bread, which families rely on as a central part of their meals. When resources are extremely limited, providing bread for the household may mean sacrificing another important need, creating a difficult choice that many displaced families face repeatedly.
As part of our humanitarian response, we distributed bread to families in the camp, aiming to reach those most in need and ease part of the burden they are carrying.
This support provides families with more than food. It allows them to preserve their limited resources for other essential needs and reduces the constant worry of how they will feed their children.
For us, it may be a loaf of bread. For a displaced family, it may be the difference between an empty table and a meal they can share with their children.
Continuing this type of assistance depends on your support. Every contribution helps us provide more bread and deliver it to families who still need someone to stand beside them.
