During one of our visits to a village in the northern countryside of Aleppo, we met Tareq, a young orphan whose life changed dramatically after losing his father two years ago. Despite his young age, Tareq has become the primary provider for his family, carrying responsibilities far beyond what any child should bear.
The family faces difficult living conditions and struggles daily to secure basic necessities. Through your generous support, we were able to provide Tareq and his family with a bread bundle, helping ease some of the burden they carry and ensuring they have food on their table.
What may seem like a simple loaf of bread represents much more to families like Tareq’s—it is a source of comfort, dignity, and hope during challenging times. Your kindness reminds vulnerable families that they are not forgotten and that compassionate people continue to stand beside them.
