Today, our team visited a Syrian refugee child living with his family in one of the villages near Mersin in southern Turkey. The child lost his leg as a result of the devastating earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria in February 2023.
Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide financial assistance to help cover the cost of his medications and ongoing medical treatment, easing part of the burden faced by him and his family during these very difficult circumstances.
This support has brought hope and relief to the child and his family as they continue a long and painful journey of recovery after this life-changing injury.
Supporting individual medical cases, especially children affected by disasters, creates a real difference in their lives and gives them a chance to continue treatment and live with dignity.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped ease the suffering of this child and his family.
