Amid difficult humanitarian conditions, our team—thanks to your generous support—was able to provide financial assistance to Mahmoud to cover the cost of a critical surgical operation after he was involved in a serious car accident, while living in one of the displacement camps in northern Syria.
The accident left him with severe injuries that made him unable to move, bringing his daily life to a complete halt and placing an even heavier burden on his family, who have no source of income or provider.
The importance of this assistance goes beyond covering the cost of surgery—it represents a real chance for Mahmoud to recover, regain his mobility, and return to his normal life, while also easing the hardship faced by his struggling family.
With the increasing number of such humanitarian cases, our need for your continued support remains essential so we can stand by patients and provide help during their most difficult moments.
