For many of us, having bread on the table is something ordinary. But the reality is very different for displaced families living in Al-Dhahiriya Camp near Aleppo in northern Syria.
These families face difficult economic conditions and limited sources of income, making daily access to food a constant concern. With children and large households living in the camp, obtaining enough bread has become a basic and recurring need that cannot be postponed.
In response to this need, our team worked to distribute fresh bread to displaced families in Al-Dhahiriya Camp, delivering it directly to households and helping them provide an essential part of their daily meals.
This project provides more than just loaves of bread. It helps ease a question many families face every day: What will we put on the table today? Each distribution offers families some reassurance that one of their most basic needs has been met.
Continuing bread distributions means continuing to put food on the tables of displaced families. With your support, we can keep responding to this need and reach more people who rely on humanitarian assistance to endure the hardships of daily life.
