By Oana Marchis | Anti-Trafficking Program Manager
We are happy to report that we are currently working with 11 human trafficking survivors in the Cluj and Alba counties of Northwest Romania. We have partnered closely with the local and national public authorities in the successful repatriations of three new survivors, two of whom were trafficked abroad. We feel very privileged for the opportunity to walk alongside these survivors, step-by-step, in their rehabilitation and reintegration process.
Some highlights of the previous reporting period are as follows:
Thank you so much for all of your support. Each and every one of you is an integral part of the team working to help our survivor community access justice and claim their human rights. Please spread the word and tell your connections that you support the CRD’s anti-trafficking program!
If you’d like to continue regularly supporting this program, we encourage you to utilize the recurring donation option on our GlobalGiving project page. Your monthly support would be very much appreciated.
Engaging in the issue of human trafficking is extremely important, both in your own community and here in Romania. How would you like to get more involved in this issue?
