What YOU made possible in Honduras!

Dear friends,

Because of your support, meaningful change is unfolding in communities across Honduras.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve witnessed moments of growth, connection, and opportunity—each one made possible by your generosity.

From Skills to Income in Ocotal

In Ocotal, more than 40 women and community leaders came together for a hands-on entrepreneurship workshop—bringing together baking, business training, and food safety education. After a year of learning baking skills through our Leadership Intern Julia’s program, participants took the next step: exploring how to turn those skills into sustainable income.

With guidance from volunteer Kat (MBA) and support from the Red Cross, they gained practical tools to start and grow their own businesses safely and confidently. Each participant left not only with a starter kit, but with something even more important—a sense of possibility.

As Julia shared, “We are a strong, united group—and we know we have the tools we need to move forward and be successful.”

This is the kind of transformation your support makes possible.

Creating Spaces for Community in El Llano

In the community of El Llano, families, educators, and local leaders gathered to shape a shared vision for a new school stage at the Ana García de Hernández School. This future space will serve as more than a stage—it will be a place for connection, creativity, and celebration. A place where students can grow in confidence and where the community can come together.

Your support is helping turn this vision into reality—led every step of the way by the community itself.

Building the Future in El Carrizal

In El Carrizal, a new classroom is rising. Community members are volunteering their time and labor, working side by side to create a space where children can learn and thrive. With your support, this project is moving forward—step by step. Together, we are building more than walls. We are building opportunity, stability, and hope for the next generation.

Thank You

Across each of these efforts, one thing is clear: When communities have the resources and support to lead, incredible things happen.

Thank you for being part of this work—for believing in community-driven solutions, and for making these moments possible.

With gratitude,
