Through the generous support of donors like you we surpassed our open challenge fundraising goal by more than $2,000 in April of this year. The $8,287 raised has provided the funds for Ice, Rebecca, and Joel to complete their high school education and continue on to university in Uganda!
All of us at Kuza want to thank all of you who gave to this project. Through your giving these worthy students will now be able to achieve their dream of higher education. Attaining this goal will help Ice, Rebecca, and Joel break the cycle of poverty in their lives and provide hope for a bright future. Your investment in the lives of these three students will have a multiplying effect; as they will be equipped to invest in their families, communities, and in the nation of Uganda.
The funds raised during the open challenge have also made it possible for Kuza to become a permanent partner on the Global Giving platform. We believe this opportunity will allow for more people to catch the Kuza vision. There are many exciting opportunities to partner with us in supporting the Kuza mission: sponsoring a student, becoming a team member, and/or hosting a bead party are just a few. We would love to hear from you about becoming involved. As always, we welcome any feedback or questions you may have about our program. Thank you again to all who gave and please stay tuned for more opportunities to support higher education in Uganda through Kuza.
