625 Trees Planted This Quarter, Thanks to Our Donors
Dear Valued Donor,
On behalf of PLATFORM for the NEEDY (PLANE) Uganda, a charity dedicated to advocating for the rights of children, youth, and women in rural Uganda, we would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation for your generous support towards our tree planting initiatives. Your contributions are instrumental in promoting a generation that respects and cares for nature.
Recent Achievements
This quarter, in collaboration with our partner Fort TV, we have successfully amplified the voices of our campaign to plant trees and green schools across Uganda. We are proud to report that we have planted 625 tree seedlings of Gloveria and compound shed trees across three schools and one community. This initiative not only enhances the environment but also instills a sense of responsibility and stewardship in our children and youth.
Our Mission
At PLANE Uganda, we are committed to nurturing children and youth to become environmental champions. We believe that by partnering with more individuals and institutions, we can significantly increase our impact and ensure the planting of many more trees to conserve our precious natural resources.

Our Goal
Our ambitious goal is to plant one million trees. To date, we have successfully planted 12,625 trees. This achievement is a testament to the collective effort of our generous donors on GlobalGiving and our dedicated partners.
Call for Support
Despite our progress and efforts, we have yet to reach our targeted number of schools and trees due to limited funding. We humbly appeal for additional support from our valued donors and partners. Your contributions will enable us to extend our reach to more schools and communities, fostering a greener Uganda for generations to come.
