This project will empower 150 girls from small and frontline towns in Ukraine with four months of STEM education-science, technology, engineering, and math-along with mentorship and access to AI learning tools. Participants will build real prototypes, explore future career paths, and turn their ideas into meaningful projects. By helping girls develop skills in innovation and problem-solving, we strengthen communities and support Ukraine's long-term recovery through education and technology.
Only 29% of STEM graduates in Ukraine are women, and fewer than 1 in 5 engineering students are female (UNFPA, 2023). In small and frontline towns, most schools lack science labs, stable internet, or teachers trained in modern technologies. Girls grow up without role models in these fields and often believe that "tech is not for them." As Ukraine rebuilds its economy, missing half of its potential innovators means losing growth, equality, and progress for the next generation.
This project gives 150 girls aged 15-20 from small and frontline towns access to quality STEM education. Over four months, they learn science, engineering, math, and technology through mentorship from Ukrainian experts and entrepreneurs. Each participant develops a real project - from eco-ideas to digital tools - and the best receive internships and career guidance. By combining learning with real practice, girls gain confidence and skills to launch projects or find jobs in tech.
This project will help shape a new generation of young women leading Ukraine's recovery through innovation and education. By learning science and technology skills, girls gain the confidence to study further, build careers, and create solutions that strengthen their communities. As they grow into engineers, founders, and mentors, they will inspire others and ensure that Ukraine's future is built on knowledge, equality, and opportunity for all.
