This Department was established in year 2000 and is now equipped with state of the art ophthalmic diagnostic and therapeutic equipment like operating microscopes, Phaco-emulsification and micro incision procedures are performed as a routine in the department of ophthalmology.
Across Pakistan nearly one in ten people are visually impaired, with more than two million people blind in both eyes.
In Pakistan, hundreds of people go blind every day, often from preventable causes like cataract. People in Western countries have ready access to cataract surgery, but in Pakistan most people don’t. Since, we have the state of the art facilities, we require your support in facilitating in reducing the high number of visually impaired people in Pakistan.
Our purpose is to improve Pakistan’s current health system so that we can have workable eye care services for the nation.
We will be sharing more stories based on more support from you.
