This project will Support 25 women cooperatives for livestock and vegetable seed and market management, support 490 disable people from poor families, provide self employment training to 1000 women in earthquake victim areas .
More than 25 Village Developmental Communities of Nepal are affected by earthquake. Most of people of these areas are day-earners, they work hard whole day on low wages and fail to fulfill the basic needs of their family. Due to these reasons, women of these areas are working as servants in other homes, they start their work at early morning and return home after late evening. Due to this their children do not get good care and suffer from malnutrition
The proposed project has aimed to provide technical and financial support to build institutional capacity of 25 women cooperatives to cover 1500 household. It will provide training for self employment, support 490 disabled people from poor families & help to establish women cooperatives for livestock, vegetable seed and market management 500 house hold of project area.
We will provide training to 1500 house hold for self employment allowing them to rise out of poverty and positive social change for them. These women will be self-supportive and self-reliant, they will have earning power and skills for development. Social life of women and children will reach higher level. All income generation activities would be eco-friendly and sustainable. Children of these women would enjoy better education, health and overall development leading to better citizens
