Support for vulnerable communities in Venezuela

By Z R | Lider de Recaudacion y Relaciones Institucionales

Since the last report submitted in March 2025, no new donations have been received through GG for this project. Nevertheless, the Jacinto Convit Foundation remains firmly committed to the continuity of its social programs, implementing initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life of the most vulnerable communities.

As part of this commitment, two community outreach activities are scheduled to take place in the state of Miranda during the month of August.

1. Health Outreach Campaign – La Compuerta Community

Location: La Compuerta Hamlet, Andrés Bello Municipality, Miranda State.

Target Population: Approximately 300 beneficiaries, including children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.

This community faces highly vulnerable conditions, characterized by limited access to healthcare services, inadequate sanitation, a high incidence of respiratory and chronic diseases, and pregnant women who lack access to prenatal care.

Objective: To provide comprehensive medical care through internal medicine and pediatric consultations, as well as the free distribution of medications, thereby improving access to essential healthcare services for the community.

2. Community Assistance Activity – Solidarity Soup Kitchen

Location: Casa Misión Fraternidad Fray José Zapico, San José de Barlovento.

Target Population: Approximately 250 beneficiaries, including children, youth, adults, and older adults.

This activity is intended for a community previously served by the Jacinto Convit Foundation and aims to strengthen the Solidarity Soup Kitchen Program through the distribution of food, clothing, footwear, and other essential supplies, contributing to the well-being of beneficiary families and addressing the basic needs of the most vulnerable population.

Through these initiatives, the Jacinto Convit Foundation reaffirms its commitment to creating a positive and sustainable impact in vulnerable communities by promoting access to healthcare and well-being through collaborative efforts with strategic partners and supporters.
