The last couple of months have been challenging, as the organisation struggles to raise funds for her activities.
However, we have continued to share quality kidney health education on our social media handles. These posts have become more consistent as we now work with a social media handler.
Our free, twice weekly kidney clinics are still ongoing. We attend to patients with CKD and those who are high risk e.g those who have hypertension, diabetes. We offer subsidised medications and basic laboratory tests such as haemoglobin, urinalysis, blood sugar, electrolytes/urea and creatinine. We are also able to screen for the common viruses associated with CKD-hepatitis B, C and HIV.
We have continued to assist patients with kidney failure solicit for funds through our social platform (with their permission). We have support a few hospitalised patients by funding haemodialysis, their medications or laboratory tests.
We remain commited to our vision and we urge you to stick with us.
We appreciate your kind donations throughout the year!
