The project will provide comprehensive food support to 100 women from who abandon by their family and facing the challenges of mental health conditions. we will alleviate their nutritional insecurity and enhance their overall well-being, fostering an environment of care, empathy, and empowerment for these vulnerable women.
Women with mental health conditions in Nepal often face limited access to a balanced and nutritious diet. This can be due to financial constraints, lack of awareness about proper nutrition, and limited availability of fresh and healthy food options, particularly in rural areas. Stigma surrounding mental health can lead to isolation and exclusion, preventing women from accessing appropriate food resources.
KOSHISH provides psychosocial support for women who have experienced violence and developed mental health conditions. Nutritious food plan will improve the mental and physical well-being of women with mental health conditions by addressing the crucial role of nutrition in mental health. They will receive dietary consultation based on their health requirements along with counselling service.
The project will provide a sound health and healthy eating practice with group that will help them practice similar with family and even help them adapt social gathering and reduce isolation. Offer basic nutrition and budget-friendly meal planning to empower participants to make healthier food choices independently.
