In September 2024, severe floods devastated southern Poland, influencing over 57,000 people and destroying homes and livelihoods. Our foundation provides immediate and long-term support by delivering essential goods such as food, medicines, and cleaning supplies, while also organizing volunteer efforts to clean and rebuild. The project focuses on helping elderly residents in small, underserved villages, aiming to restore hope, safety, and resilience to these communities for the future.
"Water took everything I had. I am afraid of coming winter, frost and cold. I am begging you, help me to survive it." Said 78 years old Maria, one of the flooding victim we have talked to. In the middle of September 2024 south Poland was devastated due to the massive flooding. Numerous of villages and towns were flooded such Klodzk, Nysa, Stronie Slaskie, Ladek-Zdroj, Glocholazy. Our Foundation provides immediate and long-term support to flooding victims in cooperation with local governments, social centers and local organization through delivering cleaning and renovation equipment, food, hygiene products, medicines, etc. We also organize volunteers trips to the devastated area to clean after the flooding focusing our support mainly on villages surrounding flooded towns as there often live elderly people as the support come there not in as much intensity as it should.
