The Muwakkhat Foundation, in partnership with the semi-governmental organization Learning with Earning, has successfully trained 235 Pakistani girls in essential digital skills through its groundbreaking project, Support Women Entrepreneurs to Earn Digitally (Project ID: 65290) on GlobalGiving. This initiative aims to empower young women by equipping them with the tools to overcome mobility challenges and earn a sustainable income from the comfort of their homes.
The project offered 12 comprehensive online courses, including:
Social Media Marketing
Video Editing
Fiverr Freelancing
Graphic Designing
Microsoft Office
Spoken English Language
WordPress Web Development
Amazon
SEO Content Writing
YouTube
E-commerce (Shopify, FB, TikTok)
Canva Designing + Chat GPT
These courses were carefully designed to provide practical, in-demand skills that enable participants to tap into the global digital economy. After completing their training, the girls are offered internship opportunities to gain hands-on experience and start earning from home. This not only boosts their confidence but also ensures they can contribute to their households and communities.
