Dear Donors,
Severe economic inflation and skyrocketing food costs in Nigeria have pushed vulnerable populations deeper into extreme poverty. For orphans, street children, and less-privileged households in Port Harcourt, securing even a single nutritious meal daily has become an agonizing challenge. To counter this food insecurity crisis, the Touchlives Albert Foundation (TAF) sustained its continuous, direct food distribution program over the last three months.
Our team and volunteers regularly hit the streets of Port Harcourt to prepare and distribute warm, balanced, and nutritious meals directly to homeless individuals, beggars, and vulnerable youth. Furthermore, we extended our reach to local orphanage homes, supplying essential bulk food items and emergency relief packages to ensure children in institutional care do not suffer from nutritional deficits. Beyond providing food, our teams offered emotional support and counseling, reaffirming our commitment to serving marginalized populations with deep empathy and dignity.
As we prepare for the physical rollout of our 12-week technical training academy tracks, keeping our community fed remains a fundamental pillar. A nourished individual is a capable learner. We thank our GlobalGiving donors whose ongoing generosity turns our compassion into real-world relief.
Warm regards
