Dear Donors,

We want to thank you so much for your support and let you know what impact you’ve made on our community.  Here is some data:

We have served 5 sponsored members so far.  As of today, 151 days of membership have been sponsored. 4 sponsored members have been trained.  9 classes/workshops were given, which amounts to 15 hours of training.  7 different classes/courses/workshops have been offered.

When people apply for the sponsored membership program, we ask them to describe what projects they would like to work on.  Woody Poulard, who is doing most of the teaching for the sponsored membership program, reports that on the whole, students are excited about applying their new skills to their projects.  And we’re excited for them!

Due to our covid safety protocol, we’re serving 2 students at a time and this is the governing factor for how many sponsored members we can onboard at a time. One of the challenges to getting people through the program has been scheduling classes.  By the next report we hope to have streamlined the scheduling process.

Thank you again for your support!
