EDUCATION
The Educational Program aims to provide opportunities and tools to high school students in socially and/or economically vulnerable contexts, helping them to graduate and develop a life with purpose, acting responsibly within their community and environment.
To achieve this goal, a comprehensive training process is carried out for students, promoting their personal and academic development so they can access quality employment and become the architects of their own paths.
82% of participating young people graduate from high school.
92% of invited students choose to participate in the program.
90% of young people who started in 2023 completed the program.
Throughout the year, we work with young people on developing seven key capabilities across various areas:
Learning to learn
Communication
Information analysis and comprehension
Critical thinking
Organization and planning
Working with others
Responsible citizenship
The four pillars that support our work are:
Institutional articulation with schools
Mentoring by Tutors
Financial scholarship subject to attendance
Comprehensive educational proposal (which includes the program's activities/spaces)
Educational Program
The program runs for 7 months, during non-school hours, through group activities held in the following spaces:
Educational Support: We work on developing capabilities that enable young people to navigate and complete their secondary school journey autonomously and plan a life with purpose.
Personal Development: We implement dynamics that foster personal growth in young people through self-knowledge, relationships with peers, and their projection toward the future.
Creativity, Service-Learning, and Sustainability Project (CASS): We guide young people in designing and implementing projects that address a specific need in their school environment related to sustainability.
Training Sessions: We invite professionals from human resources departments of various organizations to train young people for job placement, and we organize company visits. This year, we incorporated training in responsible citizenship, financial education, and a space for them to acquire skills to choose their vocation.
85 training sessions
12 companies
Educational and Professional Internships: We coordinate practical experiences with various organizations, allowing young people to participate in an educational experience in a work and/or professional training environment. These opportunities range from volunteering in civil society organizations to educational internships in companies or training sessions offered by different institutions.
70 young people participated in volunteering with CSOs.
