Summary

This project supports Othman Faye, serving 540 students, including 151 orphans, by providing daily meals and sustaining education. Students spend up to 11 hours daily learning Quran, Islamic studies, and basic education under the care of 11 teachers and 2 staff members. With only $3,700 monthly, we can maintain food, salaries, and essential school operations for children who rely on the school for both education and daily nourishment.

Challenge

Rising living costs threaten the school's ability to provide daily meals and maintain stable salaries for teachers and staff. Most students come from low-income families, while many orphans depend entirely on the school for food, care, and education. Without consistent support, hundreds of children risk losing access to both learning and nutrition, directly affecting their future and stability.

Solution

This project ensures continuous education and nutrition for 540 students through a practical and cost-effective support model. Project Components Daily Food Support Meals for 540 students Cost: $90 daily Educational Staff Salaries 11 teachers + 2 workers Cost: $900 monthly Utilities & Essential Expenses Maintenance, bills, and school necessities Cost: $100 monthly Budget Monthly: $3,700 Yearly: $44,400 Cost Efficiency Supporting one student costs only about $7 monthly.

Long-Term Impact

Education nutrition stability brighter futures. This project supports 540 students, including 151 orphans, while preserving 13 jobs for teachers and staff. Daily meals improve students' health, focus, and learning outcomes. To strengthen long-term food security, we are developing a sustainable waqf poultry farm to support the school's future nutritional needs, reduce reliance on unstable donations, and build a lasting model of self-sufficiency and ongoing charity.
