Once the villagers of Uttar Banishanta, Dacope, Khulna went through the sufferings of access to drinkable pure water. They had to live with many waterborne diseases like dysentery, diarrhea regularly. They were using salty water source river, canal for their daily uses. They did not use these sources willingly; they had no other way.
Realizing the importance of safe drinking water, Bangladesh Environment & Development Society (BEDS) established two water plants with the capacity of producing 10000 liters of pure water daily. This opportunity came as a blessing for the community. Now they are getting access to not only safe drinking water but also, they are generating alternate income source from selling this water into different sources.
We reach out to our generous donors for support, so that together, we can continue this water supply for the community people of surroundings villages too.
We would like to thank all our donors for their amazing and continuous support for the coastal deprived people. We are requesting all our donors to start monthly recurring donation by clicking the following link;
