In 2024, Greenpeace MENA successfully delivered $10,000 in in-kind donations from local foundations to the Lebanese Red Cross, providing tents, food, clothes, medication, milk and diapers to some focibly displaced families by the ongoing war on Lebanon and in urgent need of essentials. This is a remarkable achievement reflecting compassion and commitment to supporting communities in times of crisis.
But as the war is ongoing, so does the need.
Over 1 million people remain affected, families separated, homes lost, and an uncertain future looming over countless lives. The aid we’ve delivered has provided hope, but more is needed. The reality on the ground is dire, and the Lebanese Red Cross continues to be a lifeline for those in desperate need of food, shelter, and medical care.
