This project supports the District Deaf Cricket Association Peshawar in organizing the T20 Four Deaf Cricket Tournament 2026 for hearing-impaired athletes. The tournament will bring together four Deaf cricket teams to promote inclusion, sportsmanship, confidence, and equal opportunities through sports. Funds will support cash prizes, meals, event management, and tournament operations, helping Deaf players gain recognition and participate with dignity. The event will also raise public awareness.
Deaf athletes in Peshawar face limited opportunities to participate in organized sports due to barriers in access, visibility & inclusive sporting events. Many talented Deaf cricket players lack platforms to compete, develop confidence & gain recognition. Without dedicated tournaments, Deaf youth remain excluded from opportunities that promote teamwork, leadership, social inclusion, & healthy participation. This project will directly benefit Deaf cricket players and inclusive sport in Pakistan.
